Policies

Clear boundaries that support calm, professional care.

Payments and cancellations

Appointments are pre‑paid to confirm clinician time and support calm planning for in‑home care.

Where suitable notice is given, Wellness Vet follows a credit‑first approach.

This allows appointments to be rearranged without unnecessary pressure.

Full details, including notice periods and credit terms,

are set out in the Cancellations and Rearrangements Policy.

Scope of care and limitations

Wellness Vet provides independent, non‑urgent veterinary care by appointment,

delivered at home and online.

Dogs must remain registered with a bricks‑and‑mortar veterinary practice.

This ensures access to emergency and facility‑based care where needed.

The scope of care, client responsibilities, prescribing principles, and service limitations,

are set out in the Terms and Conditions.

Confidentiality and data protection

Personal information is handled with care, clarity, and confidentiality.

Medical records are stored securely.

Information is shared only where appropriate for your dog’s care or where legally required.

Further details are set out in the following documents:

Complaints

Wellness Vet aims to handle feedback fairly, promptly, and transparently.

Concerns are best raised in writing so they can be reviewed carefully and responded to clearly.

Your dog’s wellbeing is always kept at the centre of the process.

Full details, including how to raise a concern and expected response timelines,

are set out in the Complaints Policy.

If anything is unclear, Wellness Vet is always happy
to discuss practical policies calmly before care is arranged.
