Pricing at Wellness Vet is designed to support calm planning and thoughtful, unhurried care.

The principles below explain how fees are structured and what to expect in practice.​

Appointment duration and fees

Appointment durations are designed to protect calm pacing and practical planning.

They act as time guides rather than per‑minute billing.

Fees reflect clinical complexity, professional expertise, and clinical responsibility.

Where additional care, diagnostics, or treatment may be helpful, clear estimates are shared in advance.

Travel

Travel is charged separately and confirmed in advance.

​

Prescriptions

Prescriptions are provided where clinically appropriate and issued to your nominated pharmacy.

A fee of £16 applies per prescription item. Annual vaccination prescriptions are included in the Wellness Assessment price when vaccination is planned and administered during a scheduled follow‑up visit.

Laboratory diagnostics

Laboratory fees are charged at market cost,

with estimates agreed in advance where testing is recommended.

A trusted laboratory service is used, with courier collection arranged where appropriate.

Alternative laboratories can be used on request.

Payment

Advance payment is required to secure appointments.

This allows care to be delivered calmly, without urgency or pressure on the day.

Cancellations and rearrangements

Cancellations, rearrangements, and credits are set out in the Cancellations and Rearrangements Policy.

VAT

Prices shown do not include VAT.

Wellness Vet is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged.

Multi-dog households

Travel is charged per household.

Clinical care time and fees apply per dog.

​

Transparency and confidentiality

All care is handled with clarity and confidentiality.

Itemised invoices are provided, and support with insurance claims is available where appropriate.

Medical records are reviewed thoughtfully and stored securely.​​
